Accelerating Innovation to Bring Clean Energy to the World

NIA is a non-profit, non-partisan, “think-and-do” tank working to help create the conditions for success for advanced nuclear energy so it can be part of the climate and energy solution.

About NIA

The Nuclear Innovation Alliance (NIA) is a non-profit “think-and-do” tank working to enable advanced nuclear power as a global solution to mitigate climate change. Through policy analysis, research, outreach, and education, we are catalyzing the next era of nuclear energy. We envision a world of prosperous communities and thriving nature supported by an abundant and sustainable 21st century energy supply. Our team is passionate about clean energy and the stewardship of our planet.

Advanced Nuclear

The world needs economic, flexible, secure, zero-carbon energy that can scale up rapidly to expand energy access while halting climate change. The next generation of nuclear energy can join with other clean energy sources to uniquely meet these needs. Governments, universities, civil society, and the private sector can work together to drive the innovation needed to make nuclear power competitive and scalable for global use.

Danielle Emche Fund

Danielle Emche was a project manager at the Nuclear Innovation Alliance. Danielle passed away unexpectedly in August 2022. In honor of her tremendous contribution to our mission, NIA has established the Danielle Emche Memorial Internship and Fellowship Fund. Emche interns and fellows will pursue nuclear innovation policy project at NIA and will be selected based on their potential to make major contributions to enabling advanced nuclear energy as a climate solution. You can donate to the Fund by selecting the "Danielle Emche Memorial Internship and Fellowship Fund" option on the NIA donation page here
