Biographical information about Peter Hastings:   

Peter is Principal and Founder of The Hastings Group, LLC, an energy policy and regulatory advisory firm. He consults with domestic and international governmental and non-governmental clients on emerging energy policy issues and nuclear technology deployment and serves as board director or advisor on numerous nuclear development initiatives. Peter formerly was Vice President of Regulatory, Quality, and Public Affairs for Kairos Power, leading teams responsible for advancing ground-breaking efforts in advanced reactor development and licensing. He has provided management and regulatory advisory services to the Electric Power Research Institute, the Nuclear Energy Institute, the Tennessee Valley Authority, Southern Company, and several advanced reactor developers on the regulatory framework for advanced reactors, and has held previous positions with Generation mPower, NuStart Energy Development, and Duke Energy, as well as numerous nuclear energy technical and regulatory working groups.
