WASHINGTON D.C. The Nuclear Innovation Alliance shared the following statement on the results of House Energy and Commerce subcommittee markup on 12 nuclear bills.
The following statement may be attributed to NIA Executive Director Judi Greenwald:
"We are pleased to see bipartisan leadership and unanimous support for twelve bills that encourage continued operation of existing nuclear power plants and the development and deployment of new and advanced nuclear technologies. We know that our climate goals and other pressing public interests depend on a complete set of technologies including advanced nuclear energy. Clearly, the Members of the Energy and Commerce Committee are of the same mind.”
The Nuclear Innovation Alliance is a non-profit think-and-do-tank working to enable nuclear power as a global solution to mitigate climate change.
